Two gears are used for this purpose and the alignment of these gears can have a dramatic impact on the performance of your vehicle. Setting the gear mesh on your car or truck can be vitally important to preventing a gear failure or overheating your motor. We pulled a transmission out of a Losi HIGHroller to demonstrate the proper way to set your gear mesh in a few simple steps.
