Описание: J. Oswald Sanders once observed, “Eyes that look are common. Eyes that see are rare.” The Scriptures are filled with accounts of blind people (metaphorically) who don’t understand, but yet have God’s answers right before them. They long to soar ever higher, and can’t understand why they have to return to earth. Repeatedly we see Jesus facing this attitude amongst His disciples, and others who had joined the group. Jesus spent literally years, walking mile after mile, teaching and challenging the masses to see and understand. He used stories, parables, illustrations, history lessons, object lessons, narratives, and poetry. But yet the people, including His disciples, just couldn’t grasp the truth of His teaching.
