How to Make Cloud Party Mask Texture Pattern Presets

Next we are going to add an option to display preset tiled textures tinted by any of the preset colors we made. The texture pattern starts of as a simple black and white masking shape.
( Size 64x64 or 128x128 pixels)
It has the tint color applies to it tinting the white part of the mask. Thus the Output is Tinting. The second value is set to Two color -Red Mask. Don't worry about the Red Mask part of the value. This just means you mesh object has a tint color applied through the white shape of the Mask. The rest of the is black, this is the background color. So the Red Masking allows you to define a background color to complement the tinted white.
The value for the Diffuse Texture is optional. For clothing mesh this value could be a textured uv map of the mesh. You could also put any diffuse alpha texture here. This will add more depth to a tiled pattern
So to make Pattern Preset First make sure you change the
Surface Blending to Alpha Blend.
1) After the last Value of color presets open the 3rd down green plus button
2) in red name field give it a name like Patterns or Preset Patterns
3) Change the type from Number to 'Option'
4) Open the green plus button
5) open the green plus button in the value field
6)From the red drop down menu change the output to Mask Texture
7) in the 'Value' box click to open the directory so you can choose a mask texture.
8) Then in the red name field type name that describes your mask shape. You could if you like just type the name of the mask.
9) After you type the name and hit 'Enter' the name you typed name will appear in the value drop down.
10) Open the second Green plus button and select 'Tinting' from the red drop down
11) Change the value to Two Color- Red Mask
12) To add another masking texture click open the second green plus button in the 'Option' menu
13) It asks for a name but name is best added the name after you know the name of the masking texture you are going to add.
14) so click the second green plus button in the value field
15) From the red drop down select 'Mask Texture.
16) in the 'Value' box click to open the directory so you can choose a mask texture.
17)Then in the red name field type name that describes your mask shape. You could if you like just type the name of the mask.
18)After you type the name and hit 'Enter' the name you typed name will apper in the value drop down.
19) Open the second Green plus button and select 'Tinting' from the red drop down
20) Change the value to Two Color- Red Mask
I am going to add one more masking pattern and then move on to
setting up the 'tiling' You can have as many patterns as you like. but it is best to start with just a few patterns because
errors are hard to find the first time around if you have a big list to look through
You need the tiling to make a pattern from one shape
21) Click open the second green plus button in the 'Option' menu
22) It asks for a name but name is best added the name after you know the name of the masking texture you are going to add.
23) so click the second green plus button in the value field
24) From the red drop down select 'Mask Texture.

when you have enough patterns test the presets on an object.
For the tiling do the following
1) Go to the last green plus button and open it
2) change the Type from number Vector (2D)
3) click open the second green plus button and choose select 'Diffuse Texture Tiling' for the Output.
The name field is completed for you by reflecting the 'output selected.
4) The next field is created by clicking open the last green plus button.
5) change the Type from number Vector (2D)
6) click open the second green plus button and choose select
Diffuse Texture Scrolling. The name field is completed for you by reflecting the 'output selected.
7)Click open the last green plus button to
8) click open the green button in the 'Output field and choose
'Mask Texture Tiling' The name field is completed for you by reflecting the 'output selected.
9) Click open the last green plus button and change number to change the Type from number Vector (2D)
10) click open the second green plus button and choose Mask Texture Scrolling.
That is it you are pretty much done.
Once you get to understand what is going one we will add a few more functions.
