I am a longtime fan of Pastor and Singer John P. Kee - This song has a challenging shuffle feel with solid slap bass lines and lots of fills. I detuned the full bass to Bb-Eb-Ab-Db-Gb like many gospel bass players. You can visit my homepage for a free PDF download and either use the version in Eb, which is the sounding key or the version in E, which would fit the detuned setting without getting crazy in your head while reading.
I am playing a Fender American Professional Jazz Bass (passive) with new Pickups (Kloppmann Electronics).
