Описание: We took a short recce trip to our very own Pulicat. Its a future campsite for our Campervan Tours. It turned out to be the most relaxing experience we've had by the beach.

We went in Rough Edge and parked it with its back facing the beach after we got badly stuck in the sand which was recovered by our friends from there locally who had a tractor. The we had a scrumptious lunch - freshly caught fish, crabs and some amazing fish kozhambu, by the beach.

Then we took the Body-board and plunged ourselves into the water which was crystal clear thanks to no dumping of sewage or garbage. We could actually walk in the water for quite a bit inside with the waves crashing on us. The water was amazing. Then came out and took a shower outside while a camp fire was being setup for us.

Took out our speaker and blasted songs out loud and danced like a cult with no one around to get disturbed. We then sat and talked happily sharing old stories under the moonlit night.

The next day we had hot eggs and toast we made inside the van and had it by the beach after taking a dip in the ocean.

A boat ride was arranged for us to go in the ocean but unfortunately the sea was too rough and we were warned not to venture out. Alternatively, they took us into the backwaters where we were trying out different stunts in the boat, fishing and frolicking.

Came back and visited the hamlet as a good will and greeted them all before coming back to our van site. We were served hot lunch which included fish fry and button prawns. Finishing the meal, we decided to rest for a little bit and then leave with the only regret that we were leaving.

The best part is we had the whole beach for ourselves with not one person in sight to disturb us with full safety assurance from the nearby fishing hamlet.

If you are looking at a short weekend trip with the camper by the beach i suggest this one without an ounce of doubt.
