Описание: Our Tues., Jan.13 meeting will present North Carolina’s flagship hiking trail, the Mountains-to-Sea ("MST"). This trail stretches 1,175 miles across North Carolina from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks, passing many of our state’s most beautiful places along the way. Brent Laurenz (pronounced "Lawrence") is the Executive Director of the Friends of the MST. Brent will discuss the history of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail, how it’s maintained, how to explore it, and what’s next for our state’s longest hiking trail.
