Muspelheim glowing land of fire
Home of the fire giants and guarded by Surtr
When Surtr rides flames burn higher and higher
He's the leader of Muspell's sons
Supreme evil who shall end the world
He will sets the nine kingdoms on fire
His sword is brighter than the sun
He is slayer of the gods in ragnarok
Surtr moves from the south with the scathe of branches
There shines from his sword the sun of Gods of the Slain
When the world is consumed in flames,
After that a new world will rise from the sea
A new world which is fertile and teeming with life
There the surviving gods will meet again
Guardian of Muspelheim
He will lead
The fire giants
Into battle against the gods
He swings his sword which is brighter than the sun
The flaming sword burns the whole world
