Super für Anfänger: Spannende Wasserfall-Klettersteige (A/B) im Fanes-Tal - Dolomiten

Описание: Im schönen Fanes Tal gibt es hier eine Wanderung mit zwei kurzen Klettersteigen, die beide hinter einem Wasserfall entlang führen und auch für Anfänger und Kinder geeignet sind! Sicherung ist empfohlen, da die Felsen und Tritte oft feucht sind.

Der erste Klettersteig ist die Via Ferrata Giovanni Barbara (A/B) am unteren Fanes Wasserfall, dann erfolgt ein recht langer, aber wunderschöner Zuweg zum zweiten Klettersteig, der Cengia de Mattia (A/B), die deutlich kürzer hinter dem oberen Fanes Wasserfall entlang führt.

Detailbeschreibung:
Vom Parkplatz Sant Umberto nördlich von Cortina d'Ampezzo folgen wir zunächst dem Wanderweg Nr. 10 Richtung „Cascate di Fanes“.

Weiterhin folgen wir den Schildern Richtung "Cascate Belvedere" und "Sentiero Dei Canyons". Am Cascate Belvedere geniesst man einen schönen Blick von oben auf den Unteren Fanes Wasserfall und den Klettersteig dort.

Links daneben geht es steil abwärts in die Schlucht und nach rechts am Wasser entlang zur Via ferrata Giovanni Barbara (A/B). Die Metallbrücke zur Via Ferrata Lucio Dalaiti lassen wir aus. Wir folgen dem Weg zunächst durch die Schlucht aufwärts, dann Richtung Wasserfall, der Weg quert dann hinter diesem. Über ein langgezogenes versichertes Band (A) geht es zum Hauptweg.

Wer hier abbrechen will, kann über die Via Ferrata Lucio Dalaiti wieder hinabsteigen zum Hinweg, oder auf direktem Weg oben zurück zum Parkplatz laufen.

Wer zum Oberen Fanes Wasserfall (ca. weitere 300hm) weitergehen will, kann dies über den breiten Waldweg tun, oder so wie wir über den wunderschönen Sentiero dei Canyons. Der Weg steigt durch die Schlucht aufwärts, über teils steile Pfade und Stufen. Nach ca. 1 - 1,5 Std. gelangt man dann zum zweiten Klettersteig.

Rechts ab geht es zu einem Band, welches zum Oberen Fanes-Wasserfall hinabführt. Direkt hinterm Wasserfall über eine nasse, mit Klammern und Drahtseil gesicherte Stufe hoch (A), dann auf einem Band zu einer Felswand. Teilweise sehr steil, aber gut mit Drahtseilen und Klammern gesichert (B) zum Ausstieg des Klettersteigs. Neben dem Bach geht es zu einer Holzbrücke, die man überquert und schließlich zum Einstieg zurück gelangt.

Der Rückweg erfolgt über den breiten Waldweg über die Ponte Alto, wo es tolle Einblicke in die hier sehr tiefe Schlucht gibt. Ein Stück weiter gelangt man dann wieder auf den Anfangsweg und zum Parkplatz.

In the beautiful Fanes Valley there is a hike with two short via ferratas, both of which lead behind a waterfall and are also suitable for beginners and children! Securing is recommended as the rocks and steps are often damp.

The first via ferrata is Via Ferrata Giovanni Barbara (A / B) at the lower Fanes waterfall, then there is a long but beautiful approach to the second via ferrata, the Cengia de Mattia (A / B), which is significantly shorter behind the upper Fanes waterfall leads along.

Detailed description:
From the Sant Umberto car park in the hairpin bend north of Cortina d'Ampezzo, we first follow hiking trail no. 10 towards "Cascate di Fanes".

We then follow the signs for "Cascate Belvedere" and "Sentiero Dei Canyons". At Cascate Belvedere you can enjoy a beautiful view from above of the Lower Fanes waterfall and the via ferrata there.

To the left we go down in steep serpentines into the gorge and to the right along the water to Via ferrata Giovanni Barbara (A/B). We leave out the metal bridge to Via Ferrata Lucio Dalaiti here. We follow the path first to the right through the gorge upwards, then over towards the waterfall, the path then crosses behind it. A long, insured ledge (A) leads to the main path.

If you want to stop here, you can go back down via the Via Ferrata Lucio Dalaiti to the initial way, or walk back to the parking lot directly.

If you want to continue to the Upper Fanes waterfall (approx. Another 300 m), you can do this via the wide, easy forest path, or as described here via the beautiful Sentiero dei Canyons. The path usually climbs up through the gorge close to the water, partially over steep paths and steps. After about 1 to 1.5 hours you will reach the second via ferrata.

To the right it goes to a ledge that leads down to the upper Fanes waterfall. Directly behind the waterfall over a wet step secured with clamps and wire rope up (A), then on a wet band to a rock wall. Partly very steep, but well secured with wire ropes and a few clamps (B) to get out of the via ferrata. Next to the stream there is a wooden bridge that you cross and finally get back to the entrance.

The way back is via the wider forest path over the Ponte Alto, where there are again great insights into the very deep gorge.
