Speaking at the Asia Pacific Forum Against Drugs, Second Minister for Home Affairs Josephine Teo said misinformation on the impact of drugs is rising. She urged governments and NGOs to work together towards a drug-free society. The global drug situation has worsened, with some countries growing more tolerant towards recreational drugs like cannabis. Mrs Teo cited a US study that said legalising cannabis has detrimental effects. At the forum, global leaders also shared best practices on drug prevention.
