On SAP Business One, when you create the production order and you want to create issue for receipt/production but the production order number that you just created is missing, and somehow on the screen or choose from list. You must change the issue method to the manual.
On issue method manual, the items and resources are not automatically issued. This enables you to post components issued to a production order precisely when they are required in the production process and also issue a partial quantity if needed, even before reporting completion.
