This is the 10th tour of our series, THE REAL TOURS, in which we provide an in the moment glimpse into a place with off-the-cuff commentary completely intact! No research, no script, just RRR letting you in on their insights and observations walking the malls.
We visit the Moorestown Mall in Moorestown, NJ very frequently. Maybe every other month or so. This particular visit we noticed the mall is doing much better in terms of inline store occupancy, so thought why not do a 6 month update? I counted all the interior mall spaces and figured out that the mall is boasting a 75% occupancy rate (68 open stores out of 91 total spaces). In this day and age of the rapidly crumbling mall scene, 75% is doing mighty fine. Even malls that appear to be much healthier like Oxford Valley can only claim 69% occupancy these days.
