Competing in their last CIF (high school) state championship race as team, the senior-led Newbury Park program once again dominated the action to win their third straight title, this time coming in Division 2. The Panthers scored 24 points to finish well ahead of Granada's 99 in also punching their ticket to Nike Cross Nationals!
Lex Young led the way with the individual title win in 14:28, followed by twin brother Leo's 14:39. Also scoring for the team were senior Aaron Sahlman (Woodward Park career best 14:42), Dev Doshi (15:18) and Brayden Seymour (15:30).
