Nearly everything done in this stop is wrong per 2019 “Pa Vs Hicks “
Now open carrying doesn’t not constitute reasonable suspicion per PA V HICKS 2019;
Open carry is legal so when open carrying its presumed you have a license because you have to have one to do so.
The only way you should be stopped is if you committed a crime or traffic infraction. You may be stopped possibly if a cop doesn’t know the law or the court ruling but I’ve began the process to make sure all PPD AND LAW ENFORCEMENT IN Philadelphia knows both. Working on the rest of the state also.
The female officer 👮🏽♀️ was a bit much and wrong but it’s ok. This is a old stop and I’ve been down town and most police won’t even attempt to stop me while open carrying because they know the law and court ruling.
6 officers on the scene. The cops a the end discourage open carrying to no avail. A officer suggests he hopes my next stops are pleasant as this one and if I had one it was.
My reason for open carrying now is not the same as it was in this video but something far deeper.
