The EQ 8 is a Multi Channel - Multi EQ based on the IP211 module of the Ark console
The EQ section of the Ark console is the IP211 module.
This IP211 features a 4-band Inductor Equaliser, Hi-Cut filter, Lo-Cut filter and Swing EQ.
Since the Ark8 is an inline console with 2 audio paths, the IP211 also has 2 audio paths.
Each of the four EQ sections - of each module - can be independently used on either “A” or “B” audio path. (on the Ark8 console these are called “Large Fader” and “Small Fader” audio path)
The EQ 8 features 8 of these IP211 modules, mounted vertically in a 6U 19 inch rack.
Each module has 2 inputs and 2 outputs, and 2 audio paths, actually making the EQ 8 an EQ with 16 I/O
