In this Computer Systems Servicing video, we will demonstrate how to install Windows 7 operating system. For our testing, we have a blank virtual machine, instead of a physical machine.

The following summarizes the steps in how to install.
1. Power on VM and boot to USB installer.
2. Select the language, time and currency format, keyboard or input method.
3. Accept the license terms.
4. Select custom installation type for a clean installation.
5. Partition the hard disk drive.
6. After setup copies and installs the required files, type username and computer name.
7. Type password for security purposes.
8. Select Use recommended settings or Ask me Later
9. Change timezone, date and time
10. Select network location

According to Microsoft, Windows 7 support ended on January 14, 2020.
