বাংলাদেশি পণ্যে আরোপ করা শুল্ক হার কমাতে ওয়াশিংটনে বাংলাদেশ-যুক্তরাষ্ট্র প্রতিনিধি দলের তৃতীয় দফার প্রথম দিনের আলোচনা শেষ হয়েছে। বৈঠক সূত্র বলছে, শুল্ক কমানোর বিষয়ে ইতিবাচক সাড়া পাওয়া গেছে। যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ওয়াশিংটন ডিসিতে ইউএসটিআরের প্রধান কার্যালয়ে বাংলাদেশ সময় মঙ্গলবার দিবাগত রাত সাড়ে ১২টায় তৃতীয় দফার প্রথম দিনের আলোচনা শুরু হয়। আলোচনায় বাংলাদেশ দলের নেতৃত্ব দেন বাণিজ্য উপদেষ্টা শেখ বশিরউদ্দীন। সঙ্গে ছিলেন জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা উপদেষ্টা খলিলুর রহমান, বাণিজ্য সচিব মাহবুবুর রহমান ও অতিরিক্ত সচিব নাজনীন কাওসার চৌধুরী।
