Описание: In the final episode of our Tasmania travel series, we wrap up our unforgettable road trip with two adventure-filled days exploring some of the island’s most stunning and diverse natural wonders — from dramatic sea cliffs to hidden caves and forest treetop walks.

🌊 Day 7 – Port Arthur & Tasman Peninsula Adventures
We began the day with a scenic drive to Port Arthur, where we joined the Tasman Island Cruise, an incredible 3-hour adventure exploring the spectacular Tasman National Park from the sea. This thrilling journey took us beneath towering cliffs, past sea caves and waterfalls, and around the rugged coastline of Tasman Island.
Along the way, we encountered amazing wildlife including seals basking on the rocks and majestic albatrosses gliding above the ocean.

After the cruise, we explored some of the Tasman Peninsula’s most iconic landmarks — the Port Arthur Historic Site, the striking Remarkable Cave, and the fascinating rock formations at the Tessellated Pavement. Each location revealed another side of Tasmania’s natural and historic beauty.

🪨 Day 8 – Hastings Caves, Hot Springs & Tahune Adventures
Our final day began with a drive to the Hastings Caves State Reserve, home to the extraordinary Newdegate Cave — a magnificent dolomite cave known for its colorful formations and unique textures. The guided tour took us deep underground, where we admired its impressive stalactites and stalagmites.

After the cave tour, we enjoyed the Platypus Walk and the Hot Springs Walk, where we were lucky enough to spot a platypus in the wild — an unexpected and magical highlight of the day! We also experienced a fascinating natural phenomenon where hot and cold water streams met in the same area, creating a truly unique environment.

To end our Tasmania adventure on a high note, we drove to the Tahune Adventures near the Huon River. There, we walked among the treetops on the Tahune AirWalk, offering breathtaking views over the forest and river below. We then completed the 3 km Swing Bridges Walk, crossing two suspension bridges over the Huon River — a perfect blend of thrill, beauty, and serenity.

Finally, we wrapped up our incredible journey with a stop at the Tasman Bridge Lookout, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences and stunning landscapes we had discovered over eight wonderful days in Tasmania.
