Evil West is a third-person shooter set in the 1800s that was developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Focus Entertainment. The game takes place in Western America, but it does not stay there because the developers have included numerous locations in the game. Throughout Evil West, however, myths, legends, and historical episodes are reimagined in a distinct distorted Old West universe brimming with sinister secrets.
Evil West is set in an alternate version of the 1800s West, where vampires coexist with average folks and scary monsters that prowl the landscape. The gamers, on the other hand, play one of the last people left to pose a threat to them, to rid the land of terror, and to hammer home all the evil monsters with their arsenal of weapons and abilities.
The gameplay demo shown by the developers as well as media outlets reveals a significant amount about the game's mechanics. The gamer portrays Jesse Rentier of the Rentier Institute, who starts off with a handy but effective pistol, a long-ranged rifle, a mele baton (with abilities), and a regenerative shield that can stun enemies with shock when parried with perfect timing.
