I witnessed something really amazing today. A mother cat and her 4 kittens are living inside a tree hole. (Tree hollow) She is a Calico cat and she has 2 tuxedo kittens and 2 Calico kittens. Calicos are a little bit shy compared to Tuxedo ones. But they will socialize in time. If they had a feral mom they will stay feral or shy but their mother is not feral. I'm so happy that I witnessed something this special. She found the best place for her kittens. The tree which is now their home is 250 years old! They have entrances on every side of the tree. One thing the kittens have to learn. Not poop in their entrance. lol I will be visiting them regularly. To check on them and feed them. By the way that one Calico kitten's eye problem is not serious. I will regularly give her eye drops.
