Описание: In the southern lowlands of Laos, traditional medicine is a popular form of healthcare, especially in the treatment of chronic illness. Traditional healers (mo ya) collect, create and prescribe herbal medicines and also use spiritual practices to treat their patients, but these traditions are fast disappearing. This documentary follows the life, work and medical practices of two healers and a retired hospital doctor, their efforts to preserve medicinal plants and share their knowledge, and their reflections on the future of traditional medicine in Laos.
