Описание: Nel Maggio del 1988, i vari reparti da ricognizione, appartenenti alla NATO, si radunarono a Villafranca (Vr), sede del 3° Stormo per esercitazioni in congiunta fra i vari equipaggi.
Infatti...lo spirito di tali manovre, era quello della cooperazione del personale a terra, di saper garantire, l'assistenza ad ogni tipo di aeromobile, sia pur questo differente da quello in dotazione al proprio reparto.
Detto in parole povere...uno specialista di Tornado, doveva saper intervenire, sull'assistenza a terra di un Mirage o di un Phantom... e a loro volta, i loro equipaggi ...dovevano essere in grado di fare altrettanto.
