Trumpeter Jason Palmer, one of the most celebrated musicians and composers of his generation, takes the stage alongside a supergroup of the American jazz scene to present music from his live album The Cross Over. An absolute highlight, delivering cutting-edge, contemporary modern jazz of the highest caliber.

Jason Palmer is widely recognized as one of the defining voices on the modern jazz trumpet. Combining technical brilliance, lyrical depth, and stylistic versatility, he has built an international reputation as both an innovative composer and a charismatic bandleader. In addition to appearing on more than forty recordings as a sideman, he has released thirteen acclaimed albums under his own name, showcasing his distinctive vision and artistry. Palmer has collaborated with an extraordinary roster of artists, including Roy Haynes, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Ravi Coltrane, Jeff Ballard, Lee Konitz, Phil Woods, Common, Roy Hargrove, and Lewis Nash. His versatility allows him to move seamlessly between straight-ahead jazz traditions and forward-looking, cross-genre projects, making him one of the most sought-after trumpeters of his generation.

Mark Turner is one of the most influential saxophonists of our time. Now based in New York, Turner studied at the renowned Berklee College of Music, where he attracted attention early on. Since the early 1990s, he has belonged to the illustrious circle of the most influential jazz musicians of our time and has played with Jimmy Smith, Brad Mehldau, Joshua Redman, Brian Blade and many other stars of the scene. His crystal-clear articulation, his impressive range and his complex rhythmic and harmonic material make his sound unmistakable.

US-born, London-based bassist Michael Janisch has become a driving force in the European jazz scene. He is the founder of Whirlwind Recordings, a label of international acclaim. As both a bandleader and sideman, he has performed with artists such as Joe Lovano, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Dave Douglas, John Taylor, Mark Turner, Clarence Penn, and Greg Osby. Renowned for his powerful, energetic sound and versatility, Janisch is one of the most in-demand bassists in Europe today.

Ziv Ravitz - drums, born in 1976 in Beer-Sheva (Israel), began making music at the age of 9 with a focus on drums. In the summer of 2000, he moved to the USA to expand his skills and graduated from the Berkelee School of Music in 2004 with a degree in jazz composition. Regular appearances with Lee Konitz, Avishai Kohen, Yaron Herman Trio. He tours regularly all over the world and has played with musicians such as Hal Crook, Joel Frahm, Joe Lovano, Tomasz Stanko, Ralph Alessi, George Garzone, Ben Monder, Aaron Goldberg, Aaron Parks and Esperanza Spalding. Today, Ziv lives in New York City, where he is one of the most sought-after drummers and an important force in the Israeli jazz movement.
