After surviving a heart attack and open-heart surgery just 2 years ago, I ranked 176th out of ~630 in the Men 70+ division last year. Now, with the 2026 Open registration live and Workout 26.1 dropping February 26, I'm chasing a big goal: top 100.

Real talk—this year brought setbacks: my old gym closed, I switched to a new one, sprained my foot, and lost access to Coach Melissa for demos. I set 10 targets for myself... hit a few, but not all. Top 100? Honestly, it's a stretch this time. But I'm signed up, showing up, and aiming to improve my ranking anyway.
