Описание: In today’s video, I’ll share a preview of Portland’s Saturday Market and tips for your visit. The Portland Saturday Market is a place of weird & wonderful art, tasty food, and music. Located right on the waterfront, it offers great views over the Willamette River.

The Portland Saturday Market is in downtown Portland. It’s easily accessible by the MAX light rail, bus, or car. If you drive, I’d recommend parking at the city Smart Park garage at Naito & Davis Street, since it has reasonable rates and it’s only a 5-minute walk.

The walk from the parking garage to the Saturday Market passes right by the Japanese American Historical Plaza, which in March you’ll find filled with cherry blossoms.

To get to the Saturday Market, you can either walk along the riverside bike path or the sidewalk along Naito Parkway.

Next to the waterfront, you’ll find The Portland Saturday Market’s food court and music stage. You’ll also find a big interactive fountain that can be a hit with kids.

The heart of the market is the craft booths. The Portland Saturday Market is 50 years old as of the filming of this video in 2024! You’ll find a variety of handmade crafts, including jewelry, ceramics, soaps, visual art, and more. It’s called the Saturday Market, but it’s actually open on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Across the street, you’ll find many more booths. The Portland Saturday Market is really extensive. It’s actually the largest ongoing outdoor craft market in the US. It runs on weekends from March through Christmas Eve.
