Описание: Saving this torn apart 12" Sheldon universal metal shaper. I wasn't sure of the condition of the machine before I picked it up but I knew I wanted to keep it out of the scrap yard. In was in hundreds of pieces when I picked it up. In this video I clean it up, repair some damage to the ram, reassemble it, and get it making chips again. Lots of small detials like installing the ram pins, belt installation, gib adjustments, and motor inspection. I made some errors through this process but included them in the video to help others who might be in similar situations. Im not a machinist but i'm slowly learning how to machine as hobby. You'll also get a more in depth look around the shop that hasn't been featured on the channel yet. This Sheldon shaper turned out to be in amazing shape and no pieces were missing. Its the perfect size machine for a garage shop. It's so much smaller than my G&E shaper or Kearney and Trecker milling machines. Honestly its pairs perfectly with my small Smart and Brown Lathe. So if your a hobby guy looking for a shaper recommend grabbing one of these if they pop up in your area. . Thanks again and yall enjoy.
