Juromenha fortress in Portugal, a little hidden gem

Описание: An excellent afternoon spent on a little known place, an old fortress in Juromenha. The first references to the site of Juromenha date from the second half of the ninth century. For more than two hundred years this place was considered the stronghold of defense of the zone of Badajoz, belonging from century X to Caliphate of Cordova.
Lukas was not that into the history part of our visit but he definitely loved running around and he was very impressed with all the ruins. We really recommend a visit for anyone with kids because there are not many people around and lots of space to run around, just be careful around the ruins because there can be a few holes.
