Visit the University of Salamanca, founded in 1218 by King Alfonso IX and keep your eyes peeled for the fabled frog carved into the intricate facade of the main building. 🐸
The story goes that any student who can spot the frog will be rewarded with great academic success. Studies have found the elusive frog sits on top of a stone skull, believed to belong to Seville’s Prince Juan, who died as a teenager in 1497.
