Brunello is the shoal draft version of these ever-popular cruising yachts and having the in-mast furling main and the Raytheon ST5000+ autopilot, she is simply a breeze to sail shorthanded or even one up.
In 2017, the hull and keel were professionally soda blasted back to the gel coat to remove the anti-foul build-up and then primed, epoxy undercoated and re-antifouled. At the same time, the rudder bearing was replaced, along with the Saildrive seal and the holding tank seacock.
Brunello is a yacht that presents well both above and below decks and her sail inventory boasts both a near new in-mast furling main and a furling genoa, both being replaced as new in 2016. The three double cabin layout allows for 3 couples to sleep comfortably in 3 separate and private cabins, and the head compartment has access from both the forward v-birth and the saloon, through separate doors. A great design feature on a yacht of this size.
The instrument package is complete, including the Navman 8084 plotter mounted on the steering binnacle and the teak lined cockpit is spacious well presented, incorporating the ever-handy walk through transom to the moulded in swim platform in the sugar scoop stern.
