Kimber Custom LW Overview

Been wanting a 1911 for some time as it reminded me of when I was issued a 1911 and how reliable and accurate that bad boy was. This is one is similar to what I was issued, but it wasn't a Kimber and was not as tight on tolerances. We will see how this one holds up to some everyday use.

Another reason I choose this pistol is that it has a lot of features that make this 1911 an awesome pistol, but still have options to upgrade/customize it to what I like/want without rebuilding the whole thing.

This pistol was purchased as a bundle package offered by Kimber. The package includes:
-3 magazines, 1 field strip tool, 1holster in an outside the waistband (OWB) configuration with clips and hardware to convert to an inside the waistband (IWB) configuration, 1 mag holder, can be worn OWB or IWB, 1 range bag, 1 gun lock.

This pistol was fun to shoot and very accurate! It has a lot of little features on it that make it an awesome pistol. Trigger broke nice and clean with a noticeable wall with very little travel. The sights are basic but are dialed in. Rubber grips aided in handling and control, which felt natural and great in the hands! There is some weight to it, but not as much if it were a steel framed pistol. Being aluminum, it is lighter, but not so light that it became uncomfortable to shoot from the recoil.
