In 2004, Palestine attempted, for the second time in their history, to qualify for the FIFA World Cup. Goal Dreams documents the journey of a team led by Austrian Manager Alfred Riedl and drawing on talent based in eight different countries from Chile (Roberto Kettlun, Roberto Bishara, Edgardo Abdala), Argentina (Pablo Abdala), Sweden (Imad Zatara), Lebanon (Rami El-Hassan), and the USA (Morad Fareed) to compliment a local contingent of players mostly based in Gaza (Ramzi Saleh, Saeb Jendeya, Ziyad Al-Kord).
Palestine started the qualification campaign brightly beating Chinese Taipei 8-0 and earning a 1-1 draw vs. Iraq putting them in a position to challenge Uzbekistan for top spot in the group on MD3 and MD4.
Goal Dreams covers the events in the lead up to Palestine's fourth game in the group over the summer of 2004.
