Singapore's First Museum Storytelling Experience l Childhood Favourites The Little Prince's Journey

Описание: For the first time ever in Singapore, the MINT Museum of Toys curated a museum storytelling experience specially to bring out the inner child in everyone! Held over two days on 26th & 27th October 2024, the programme invited visitors into a world where child-like marvel and imaginative came alive with Childhood Favourites: A Little Prince's Journey, at the MINT Museum of Toys.

The programme included an 'Museum' element where a docent welcomed audiences warmly into the museum, guiding everyone to rediscover childhood memories with a guided tour through the museum's classic collection of Teddy Bears from Around The World, document the diverse collection of Dolls from Around the World and also highlighted reowned puppets from the 1800s!

After the engaging guided tour, visitors were pleasantly surprised with an array of nostalgic snacks and sweets that were popular in the 80s and 90s made available for self serve and enjoyment, imagine record wafers, gem biscuits, haw flakes, win pops and alot more variety!

With original illustrations projected on a big screen and a beautifully encompassing score setting the mood, the world-renown tale of Le Petit Prince was then brought to life by Mathilde Bagein, an accomplished storyteller from Alliance Francaise de Singapour. The storyteller's captivating narration immersed audiences in The Little Prince's journey exploring themes of love, friendship and the simple joys of life. Through this unique storytelling experience, visitors were introduced to a very special doll known as The Smallest Doll in The World and even got to hear how The Little Prince encountered her during the storytelling, a special moment created specially for visitors who attended this programme!
