Event Information: Sanctuaries and Rescue Centers: On the frontlines of conservation and welfare is SARCCs first event, where we will explore some of the most pressing issues that were raised by SARCs across Asia and their partners. SARCs are often placed at this conflicting point, between alleviating suffering of individuals, and also being guardians of threatened species, all while managing organizations that are often facing governmental pressures and international standards all within resource limited environments.
This event will act as a catalyst, both to demonstrate what tools and programs are around to support SARCs, and to start conversations between organizations with the same missions, visions and challenges.
