GE's Dash 8 series locomotives were produced from the Mid-80's to early 90's and the majority have been retired or sold off over the past decades, they are seemingly beginning to become a dying breed. Here's some power you gotta look out for when you're out shooting trains. Included are CN/BCOL's C40-8, and C40-8M units that have already began to be retired (Not including IC C40-8Ws), a UP C40-8 which all have been retired, BNSF B40-8 on the verge of retirement, BNSF B40-8W about to be rebuilt, NS C40-8W already retired, Amtrak's P32-8BWH which are now mainly switchers.
