Описание: Fresh off record second-quarter production results, Endeavour Mining’s Christian Milau, chief financial officer of the company, stops by the Kitco News studio to chat about their latest results. “We got our new mine Agbaou in Côte d'Ivoire into production in the first quarter…so the second quarter had full production…we had a 16% increase on our production to 122,000 ounces (of gold) for the quarter.” Touching on developments regarding its Tabakoto gold mine, Milau notes the company is transitioning smoothly from contract mining to owner mining. “The last piece is actually getting our second underground mine, which is Segala, up and running…by the end of the third quarter that should be close to full production.” He also touches on the Ebola virus and the measures the company is taking to protect their workers and operations while stressing that their operations are not in the reported breakout regions.
