Darwin Pearson passed away peacefully surrounded by his friends Dave, Kim and Ray at the
Norwood Hospice, Capital Care Gene Zwozdesky Centre on December 27/2025
Darwin was the beloved son of the late Dallas and Marjorie Pearson (nee Davidson), survived by his
sister Darla Popewich (nee Pearson), her husband Randy and family members. He will be greatly
missed by his neighbors and friends as he touched many hearts with his welcoming personality.
Darwin enjoyed his final years travelling to many parts of the world on cruise ships which became
an annual event.
His passion for the CP Rail led him to join a Rail Club online which became his daily go too and
made many friendships with the rail members. Darwin’s train ran out of steam after a courageous
battle for the past month, his train will roll and the whistle will blow as he gravitates to heaven.
