Hyderabad New Flyover Project 2026 | Shamshabad Airport Flyover | Hyderabad Infrastructure Development

The Telangana Government is planning a massive 6-lane flyover from Chandrayangutta to Shamshabad International Airport to reduce traffic congestion and improve connectivity to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. The project is expected to cost around ₹345 Crores and will significantly improve travel time for commuters.

In a major boost to Hyderabad infrastructure development, the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) has prepared the DPR for this new flyover that will pass through Mailardevpally, Katedan, and Shamshabad Junction. This flyover will allow smooth bi-directional traffic flow and benefit both airport passengers and highway commuters.

The Telangana government is also planning Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion to the airport, which will work alongside this new flyover project to transform urban mobility in the city.

With several new flyovers, underpasses, and metro expansions, Hyderabad is rapidly emerging as one of the most advanced infrastructure cities in India. This new flyover will help reduce travel time, ease traffic congestion, and provide faster access to the airport.
