3/4 cup pureed strawberries
1 cup butter, rm temp
1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
3 cups sugar
5 lg eggs, rm temp
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk, rm temp
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp strawberry extract, optional
3 to 4 drops food coloring, optional
2 8 oz cream cheese, rm temp
1/2 stick butter, rm temp
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp strawberry extract, optional
pinch of salt
5 to 6 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup strawberry puree
