DIY How to Make a Keyhole Off-the-Shoulder Dress + Outfits

And I have no idea why I keep referring to ruffles when it should be "gathers" at the neckline.

Anywhos, the off-the-shoulder trend is still going strong. I keep seeing it pop up on different designs and silhouettes that I keep wanting to to make them all! So I'm going to show you how to make another off-the-shoulder piece! This one has a twist with a keyhole at the front and two little ties.

I really like the outcome of this dress even though I wasn't sure if it would turn out the way I imaged. I hope you do as well and embrace the sun while autumn is still young!

DETAILS FOR THE STRIPS
Ruffle width = 9 inches
Ruffle length = 1.5 x full shoulder circumference
Seam allowance at the sides and bottom = 1/2 inches
Seam allowance at the top = Enough to create a casing for the elastic (Mine was 1 inch)
Cut 1

Armhole binding width = 1 inch
Armhole binding length = total length of the armhole
No seam allowance
Cut 2

Keyhole binding width = 1.5 inches
keyhole binding length = total length of the armhole
Seam allowance = none
Cut 1

Ties width = 1 inche
Ties length = 10 inches
Seam allowance = none
Cut 2
