Components and Connections:
3P MCCB (Molded Case Circuit Breaker):
This acts as the main power disconnect and overcurrent protection for the VFD system, connecting the R, Y, and B phases to the Line Choke.
Three Phase Line Choke VFD, 415V:
This component, connected between the MCCB and the VFD, helps to reduce harmonic distortion and protect the VFD from voltage spikes.
RBCA Variable Frequency Drive (VFD):
The core of the system, this device converts incoming AC power to DC and then back to variable frequency AC, allowing for precise control of the motor's speed and torque.
Potentiometer:
Connected to the VFD's analog input (A11), this provides a variable voltage signal (GND, A11, 10V) to control the motor's speed.
Forward Stop Reverse Remote:
This control panel, connected to the VFD's digital inputs (DI1, DI2, DI3) and common (COM), allows for remote control of the motor's direction (forward/reverse) and stopping.
Three Phase Motor:
The motor's UVW terminals are connected to the corresponding output terminals of the VFD, receiving the variable frequency and voltage power to operate.
