Great Pyrenees in cold weather | Do Betty & Bernard hate the snow?

Описание: I hear folks getting worked up all the time about how dogs need to be inside when the temperatures drop or when there's snow outside. Well, not ours. Great Pyrenees are equipped for this kind of weather and ours become very active during the day when it's cold outside. Here in Kansas, it occasionally reaches sub zero temps and these dogs don't even flinch. Instead, they're frolicking around in the snow and having a blast! The only time they seek shelter is when there's moisture in the air (ie rain or really heavy snowfall). Some dogs might enjoy the warm fireplace, but Betty and Bernard were built for this kind of weather! (Disclaimer - it's a different story in the summer heat and we do let them relax in the A/C when its extremely hot)

MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER: We have "automated" our feeding/watering system for them so they can be on their own for weeks if needed. We've done the same for our chickens and it makes daily life a whole lot more manageable.
