Walked out the door
Into the woods
No one around
It felt real good
Plugged my jacky in
Put my headphones on
And I pressed play

I had put a groovy playlist on
Starting with Jasons Funky song
I smiled from ear to ear

I was singing along
Singing to my favorite song
Louder every note
Wider opening my throat
I knew I was on my own
Well, I though I was alone
But I wasn't on my own
I didn't see the gardener

I was caught singing in the woods
Singing with the volume on
Thinking I was all alone
I was caught singing in the woods
But singing isn't wrong
So I sang like

Another day I went for groceries
So I walked through Rotterdam
Knowing there are a lot of men
And also woman by the way but I chose men for a better rhyme
And this song is not about gender, I just heard a nice song
and I wanted to sing along

In front of me was nobody
And I looked over my shoulder
I looked across the road
There was no human being close
And I knew the best part was coming
Breathed in and I was running
But I didn't notice
The man who stood in the door opening

I was cooking in the kitchen

Last week I was still touring
And today the daily talkshow-guest was me

Then it was time for a song
All the stagelights swiched on
I sang loudly and strong
Then I heard my roommate coming home

I was caught singing in my home

Thinking I was all alone
