Phuntsholing is the point of entry for travellers arriving by bus from Kolkata and Siliguri and the town functions primarily as a place where Bhutanese and Indians do business. You can travel in trains to Siliguri, Alipurduar and Hasimara to enter Bhutan through the Jaigon border next to Phuntsholing.

You would be able to see the border gate that allows the visitors to enter the town, gold orange building which was build over 50 years ogo and indeed one of the oldest building, the famous Zangdopelri (temple), petrol pump, way towards the bus booking and varieties of shops.
