Huge 30 60 E Rumely Oil Pull on 1880s Gaar Scott Circular Sawmill sawing up Walnut logs Aug 6 2017

Описание: After the earlier video I posted a while back of the 30-60 E "Heavyweight" Oil Pull on the sawmill (   • Huge 30-60 model E Rumely Oil Pull on 1880...  ) where it had Igniter Issues on one cylinder effectively cutting it down to 15-30hp (or less with it fighting against the compression on the dead cylinder), I finally got around to editing the video clips I shot of it when I got it back on the Mill again the next year running as it should for our 48th Annual Threshing Show on August 6th 2017

Hitting consistently on Both Cylinders It could have easily handled bigger logs than what I fed it that day, but it was what I happened to have on the deck at the time so This is what I got.

With the Light/Variable Load on it, it's fun to watch the engines flywheel spokes appear to Change Direction in and out of the cut, along with the darker exhaust and change in sound under a load.

This is one of the Early Model 30-60 E Oil Pull's with the LARGE Radiator, which they found to cool Too Good making for a cold running engine. Rather than restrict the flow of coolant through the radiator with a thermostat or restricter plate, they changed to a Smaller Radiator which cost less to build as it used less material and fewer cells or sections in the radiator.

While the logs in this video are all Walnut, we also cut a lot of Cherry, Pine, Cedar, Red Oak, White Oak, Burr Oak, Red Elm, Hickory, Ash, Sycamore, Maple, Willow, Cottonwood, Box Elder, Mulberry, Birch, and other Hardwoods & softwoods, Basically Whatever The Ax Men bring in, sawing anything from 1" to 5/4 to Live Edge Slabs, with widths up to 22" after squaring up. I even ran one of my own 10 inch diameter Lilac bush/tree logs through it one year
