Keeper (Xbox Series X) (Xclusive Playthrough - Part 11) Mother Nature Will Always Prevail

In this video, the lighthouse boat & Twig continue to fight against the Wither which eventually culminates in a battle between the Nucleus & the creatures of the land.

Keeper is an adventure & puzzle game that revolves around a spirited seabird named Twig who is seen in the beginning cutscene of the game being chased by a swarm of parasite-like creatures known as the Wither. Twig, fearing for his life, lands on a run-down lighthouse which actually ends up saving his life after Twig's screech brings the lighthouse's beacon come to life & scaring off the swarm. After resting for a bit, Twig wakes up & begins to feel the lighthouse spring to life from underneath. It ends up toppling over, but at the same time the wooden tendrils that were growing underneath come to life & give it the ability to walk. The unlikely pair begins to make their way through the post-apocalyptic and desolate world bringing life back to the world using the light from the top of the lighthouse. Can the bird and the lighthouse uncover the mystery behind the Wither while also eliminating it once and for all from this world?

The gameplay in this game is very interesting as the player primarily controls the lighthouse (moving around the world & shining its beacon on various objects to progress through the world) while also having Twig as a secondary companion that can recover objects that are required to progress or even activate various levers & switches. It's very easy to pick up & play as it doesn't require any precise movements while also including a lot of easy puzzle sections. The controls are also quite easy to learn as the player can use the Left Stick to walk around the world, the Right Stick to aim the Lighthouse's lamp, the Right Trigger to turn on the Focused Light, the Right Bumper to re-center the light, the A Button to interact with various objects, the X Button to have Twig interact with various objects &, finally, the B Button to cancel any action while also calling Twig back to the lighthouse and the D-Pad to switch between various objects that Twig is interacting with.

Finally, with regards to the achievements in this game: Keeper includes a total of 13 achievements for a total of 1000 GS. Only one (1) of the 13 achievements is unlocked as part of the story (for completing the game) while the other 12 are obtained by exploring off the beaten path & usually shining the beacon on a closed flower which will make it grow into a statue that essentially tells the backstory of the world. The achievement descriptions themselves do a decent job of fleshing out the lore of this world by providing a sort of backstory of how this world came to be afflicted by the Wither. The best part is that the this game does include chapter-select feature which means that you don't have to worry about missing any of the achievements during your first playthrough. You're free to simply explore the world at your leisure & take in all of the beauty. Most of the collectible related achievements are fairly easy to find as well as long as you thoroughly explore the environments as you progress through the chapters, however, the chapter-select feature also shows an icon for each chapter that does include one of the collectible related achievements so it makes it that much easier to know where exactly to look. That being said, this is a very easy completion that should take you around 4 to 6 hours.
