We got the defect roasting kit by Scott Rao, roasted by Regalia in NYC, to further explore underdeveloped roasts, baked roasts, and of course a control coffee with a good curve and well developed. The coffee is a washed bourbon from Kayanza Burundi.
This was definitely a helpful tool for comparing how these different roasts can and will impact your overall flavor and development of the bean.
