Day 3 in Darjeeling started before sunrise 🌅 as I made my way to the world-famous Tiger Hill to witness one of the most breathtaking sights – the first golden rays of the sun touching the mighty Kanchenjunga peaks. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! ✨

After that magical moment, I visited the peaceful Ghoom Monastery 🛕 and the iconic Batasia Loop, where the lush gardens and mountain views left me mesmerized.

But the highlight of the day was the legendary Darjeeling Himalayan Toy Train Ride 🚂 – a UNESCO World Heritage railway and one of the most scenic train rides in India. Starting from Darjeeling Station, the toy train took me through the stunning loop at Batasia, climbed up to Ghoom Station (the highest railway station in India 🇮🇳), and also gave me the chance to explore the fascinating Ghoom Rail Museum. An unforgettable journey you simply cannot miss in Darjeeling! 🌄

Finally, we checked out from our hotel and began another exciting adventure towards Pelling, West Sikkim 🏔️ – a destination full of nature, serenity, and Himalayan charm. In this video, I’ve also shared details on how to book Toy Train tickets and how to travel from Darjeeling to Pelling.
