In this video, we plot a parabolic velocity profile for a flow through circular pipe in post processing stage of OpenFOAM using specific tools and techniques.
Complete velocity profile is plotted when only a part of the pipe is modelled. This video talks about extrapolating half plot to a full plot.
The velocity profile can be compared with the Hagen-Poiseuille equations which can be found in any standard Fluid Mechanics literature.
