This is us on the way to the Poole Ferry to Jersey, on the A350 on Cranborne Chase - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore since we had an early ferry to catch.
Still you can see some gorgeous roads, and we'd love to come back and spend some more time here. The A350 gets a little busy at the top and bottom, but there are some spectacular parts south of Warminster.
With the Cotswolds and the Downs just around the corner this place often gets overlooked but its well worth a visit.
We stayed in Chicklade at the Old Refectory, a very friendly B&B with superb breakfast, and I can highly recommend the fish and chips at the Angel Inn in Hindon.
Actually fish and chips almost anywhere in England is awesome.
