About Us:
7Xian is an improvisational world music project based in Chengdu, inspired by the well-known Chinese traditional cultural allusion "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove". Guided by the wisdom of ancestors, we bring unique musical experiences to audiences through modern audio technology and performance techniques.

As a collective musical initiative, we embrace the symbolic significance of the number "Seven", and assemble flexible lineups to create diverse musical works for different performances and creations. Each musician of 7Xian runs their own independent music project in daily life; when we gather, we explore the sonic chemistry sparked by intuitive responses through mutual listening within an abstract and open framework.

关于我们：
七闲7Xian是一个BASE在成都，以融合世界音乐为方向的音乐即兴项目。其概念来自中国传统文化中广为人知的“竹林七贤“之典故，他们希望在祖先智慧的引导下，借由现代的声音技术与演奏方式，为听众带来特别的音乐体验。

作为集体音乐项目，故取数字“七”的独特象征意义，在创作与表演中也根据情况搭配组合完成不同的音乐作品。7Xian的音乐人在日常时间里都有各自的独立音乐项目，而当他们聚在一起时，是共同探索在抽象开放的框架下相互聆听之后条件反射带来的声音化学反应。
