This last year has been one of the most challenging and strange years of my life so far.

Some of you who see this know me as Eitan, I imagine a lot know about LOUD, and due to social media, with some of you, this is probably the 1st time we meet.
About 2 years ago I was sure I was done with trance music. The intense touring lifestyle made me forget to stop and ask questions. Am I happy with my life? The thing that I loved so much as a kid has become my job...

I decided to take a step back from performing & built a new recording studio which was designed for people to easily join me and jam, without thinking of musical styles or a purpose. The only plan being to let the music lead me and not the other way around.

A Series of events like an inspiring phone call from Avi Astrix & an uplifting visit from ROCKY Tilbor had made me examine my relationship with trance music again. Suddenly I felt able to reinvent my sound and that trance is actually a platform that I have a lot to add to.

So I invited some good friends and some childhood heroes over to the studio and received the gift of what was probably the best music production school on Earth. Simon Berry, Marcus X-Dream, Simon Posford & Raja Ram, Ofer Oforia, Reshef Captain Hook, Yuli Perfect Stranger, Nimrod Gorovich, Dekel, Barak Rosen, Leon Gossler Originals, Noam Gingold, Gal Perez PRZ and of course the talented Ido Ophir Domestic. So many people helped me get back on my musical feet, and I am not even sure they know how much it meant.

Big bands sometimes take time off touring to stop everything and create an album. I actually got the same opportunity, only without the safety of a project to get back to. It felt as if I was going "Out of Orbit".

But my solo trance album didn’t happen. Instead, I got something way bigger - a collaborative project with so many talented musicians combined with all I have learned from my never-ending conversation with the crowd. “Wisdom of the Crowds”.

This album is the recording and capturing of moments that took place in the studio in this insane time of my life, but looking back on it all just puts a big smile on my face.

Out of Orbit is where Eitan Reiter blends his deep roots in psychedelic dance music with research into the origins of acid and dance music. It's a fusion of sounds and styles crafted to take listeners on a journey from history to the evolution of electronic music.

Out of Orbit's debut album "Wisdom of the Crowds" was released on Shamanic Tales Records in early 2020, establishing the project’s unique sound through collaborations with unique artists such as Shpongle, Art of Trance (Simon Berry), Red Axes, X-Dream, Astrix, PRZ, Astral Projection, Gorovich, and Perfect Stranger.
A second album is set for release around September 2023.

In addition to his various projects ranging across ambient and dance music, Eitan Reiter was also one half of LOUD, a globally renowned act that toured worldwide from 2006 to 2019. Out of Orbit's album debut tour took place in 2022, towards the end of the pandemic, with appearances at festivals such as Ozora, Indian Spirit, Shankra, Dreamstate, and a remarkable live electronic band performance that opened BOOM Festival 2022, featuring Gorovich and Sandman on stage.
